Red Wine by Dona Paula from Argentina, South America. Color: Deep red violet color. Aroma: Dark chocolate, blackberry and plum flavors that are integrated with spice, mint and a hint of licorice. Palate: Concentrated, with fine balance and harmony and a long finish. The 2006 Shiraz (60%)-Malbec (40%) raises the bar considerably. It has an enticing nose of spice, chocolate, wood smoke, earth notes, blueberry, and black cherry. Ripe and layered, this rich effort will evolve for 1-2 years and provide pleasure from 2010 to 2018.
